awRAG MCP Server Setup

Prerequisites

• Active Claude.ai account (Pro or Teams plan recommended)
• awRAG account with documents uploaded and indexed
• At least one project with processed documents in your awRAG library

Connection Steps

1. Open Claude.ai Settings: Navigate to your Claude.ai account settings and locate the "Integrations" or "MCP Servers" section.
2. Add awRAG MCP Server: Click "Add Server" and enter the awRAG MCP endpoint:

3. Authorize Access: You'll be redirected to awRAG's OAuth authorization page. Log in with your awRAG credentials and grant Claude.ai read access to your documents.
4. Confirm Connection: Return to Claude.ai settings and verify the awRAG server shows as "Connected" with a green status indicator.
5. Enable in Conversations: In any Claude conversation, toggle the awRAG integration to activate document search capabilities.
